This drive will take 4 hours and on your arrival at Agra, you will be transferred to the hotel booked for your stay in Agra. AGRA ATTRACTIONS

Agra Fort: Agra Fort is the former imperial residence of the Mughal Dynasty located in Agra, India. It is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is about 2.5 km northwest of its more famous sister monument, the Taj Mahal. The fort can be more accurately described as a walled city.

Post breakfast, checkout from hotel & proceed to Delhi. Departure from Agra will be planned accordingly to have half day sightseeing at Delhi. Before you check in at the hotel visit Swaminarayan Akshardham Mandir (Temple): Hailed as an eternal place of devotion, purity and peace. The temple is a tribute to Bhagwan Swaminarayan (1781-1830), the avatars, devas and great sages of Hinduism. This spiritual-cultural campus located in outskirt of Delhi on the banks of Yamuna, displays millennia of traditional Hindu and Indian Culture, spirituality and architecture. The traditionally styled complex was inaugurated on 6 November 2005 with the blessings of HH Pramukh Swami Maharaj and through the devoted efforts of skilled artisans and volunteers. DELHI ATTRACTIONS

Lotus Temple(Bahai House of worship): Notable for its flowerlike shape. It has won numerous architectural awards and been featured in hundreds of newspaper and magazine articles.

The Laxminarayan Temple, also known as the Birla Mandir, is a Hindu temple up to large extent dedicated to Laxminarayan in Delhi, India. Laxminarayan usually refers to Vishnu, Preserver in the Trimurti, also known as Narayan, when he is with his consort Lakshmi.

The Teen Murti Bhavan is the former residence in New Delhi, India of the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru. He stayed there for 16 years until his own death on 27 May 1964.

Qutab Minar: Is the tallest brink minaret in the world and second highest Minar in India. Qutab Minar, along with the ancient and medieval monuments surrounding it forms the Qutab Complex, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Red Fort (world heritage site): Was the residence of the Mughal Emperor for nearly 200 years, until 1857. The Red Fort is named for its massive enclosing walls of red sandstone.

Rajghat: Is a memorial to Mahatma Gandhi, Father of the Nation. It is a black marble platform that marks the spot of Mahatma Gandhi’s cremation on 31st January 1948 a day after his assassination. It is left open to the sky while an eternal flame burns perpetually at one end.

Humayun’s Tomb: Humayun's tomb is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi, India. The tomb was commissioned by Humayun's first wife and chief consort, Empress Bega Begum, in 1569-70, and designed by Mirak Mirza Ghiyas, a Persian architect chosen by her.

India Gate (All India War Memorial): Located astride the Rajpath, formerly called Kingsway. It is a memorial to 82,000 soldiers of the undivided Indian Army who died in the period 1914-21in the First World War, are inscribed on the gate.

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to left over sightseeing in Delhi. In the evening you will be dropped at ISBT New Delhi to board your Coach to Amritsar.Overnight journey to Amritsar.

AMRITSAR ATTRACTIONS

Wagah Boarder: The lowering of the flags ceremony at the Wagah border near Hussainiwala National Martyrs Memorial is a daily military practice that the security forces of India (Border Security Force) and Pakistan (Pakistan Rangers) have jointly followed since 1959.The drill is characterized by elaborate and rapid dance-like maneuvers, which has been described as "colourful”. It is alternatively a symbol of the two countries' rivalry, as well as brotherhood and cooperation between the two nations. This ceremony takes place every evening before sunset at the Wagah border, which as part of the Grand Trunk Road was the only road link between these two countries before the opening of the Aman Setu in Kashmir in 1999. The ceremony starts with a blustering parade by the soldiers from both the sides, and ends up in the perfectly coordinated lowering of the two nations' flags. It is called the "beating retreat" border ceremony on the international level. One infantryman stands at attention on each side of the gate. As the sun sets, the iron gates at the border are opened and the two flags are lowered simultaneously. The flags are folded and the ceremony ends with a retreat that involves a brusque handshake between soldiers from either side, followed by the closing of the gates again. The spectacle of the ceremony attracts many visitors from both sides of the border, as well as international tourists.

The Golden Temple: The Golden Temple in Amritsar of Punjab (Sri Harimandir Sahib Amritsar) is not only a central religious place of the Sikhs, but also a symbol of human brotherhood and equality. Everybody, irrespective of cast, creed or race can seek spiritual solace and religious fulfilment without any hindrance. It also represents the distinct identity, glory and heritage of the Sikhs. To pen-down the philosophy, ideology, the inner and outer beauty, as well as the historical legacy of Sri Harimandir Sahib is a momentous task. It is a matter of experience rather than a of description. As advised by Sri Guru Amar Dass Ji (3rd Sikh Guru), Sri Guru Ram Dass Ji (4th Sikh Guru) started the digging of Amrit Sarovar (Holy Tank) of Sri Harmandir Sahib in 1577 A.D., which was later on brick-lined by Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji (5th Sikh Guru) on December 15, 1588 and He also started the construction of Sri Harimandir Sahib. Sri Guru Granth Sahib (scripture of the Sikhs), after its compilation, was first installed at Sri Harimandir Sahib on August 16, 1604 A.D. A devout Sikh, Baba Budha Ji was appointed its first Head Priest. The Golden Temple Amritsar India (Sri Harmandir Sahib Amritsar) has a unique Sikh architecture. Built at a level lower than the surrounding land level, The Gurudwara teaches the lesson of egalitarianism and humility.

The Jallianwala Bagh: Is a historical Place, directly connected with Indian freedom struggle. The Jallianwala Bagh massacre, also known as the Amritsar massacre, took place on 13 April 1919 when a crowd of nonviolent protesters, along with Baishakhi pilgrims, who had gathered in Jallianwala Bagh, Amritsar, were fired upon by troops of the British Indian Army under the command of Colonel Reginald Dyer. The civilians had assembled to participate in the annual Baisakhi celebrations—both a religious and cultural festival for the Punjabis. Coming from outside the city, they may have been unaware of the martial law that had been imposed. The Bagh-space comprised 6 to 7 acres (28,000 m2) and was walled on all sides with five entrances. On Dyer's orders, his troops fired on the crowd for ten minutes, directing their bullets largely towards the few open gates through which people were trying to flee. The British government released figures stating 379 dead and 1,200 wounded. Other sources place the number of dead at well over 1,000. This "brutality stunned the entire nation”, resulting in a "wrenching loss of faith" of the public in the intentions of the UK. The ineffective inquiry and the initial accolades for Dyer by the House of Lords fuelled widespread anger, leading to the Non-cooperation Movement of 1920–22.
