It is a Hill station located about 50 km from Srinagar. Gulmarg is also known “Meadows of Flowers”. Gulmarg is one of the most popular skiing destinations in India. Gulmarg has the highest golf Course in India. Another major attraction in Gulmarg is Gondola Cable car ride. The Gondola ride has two phases first one from Gulmarg to Kungdoor and second phase is from Kungdoor to Apparwath. It is suggestible to take both the phases to enjoy the ride because there is no activity or sightseeing in kungdoor. The ticket counter will be opened from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM but it is better to book the tickets online to avoid the last minute unavailability. The Tickets are only valid upto 3 Hours after issuing the tickets .No heavy shoes are requiring during gondola ride from April to July. Near the Parking slot in Gulmarg you can find local residents offering horse ride to the point where gondola ride can take but the pony riders take you from the longest route and they are not even able to take you to that point where gondola cable car can take you. If you are having Acrophobia (Fear of heights) then it is better avoid this pony ride.

It is an amazing valley which has a vibrant scenic beauty and the beautiful Lidder River add an extra grace to beauty of this place. Pahalgam is a paradise for trekkers. Some of the most beautiful valleys around Pahalgam are Aru valley and Bethab Valley. One can go for river rafting or do trout fishing in Lidder River. In pahalgham you can hire ponies for the sightseeing up to Baisaran Valley but before hiring ponies make sure that you are comfortable in sitting on ponies for 1-2 hours because once you start your ride they normally don’t allow you to get down or sometimes there is only one person who is managing two or three ponies at a time. Normal charges for ponies are INR 600/- per person but you can bargain for it and it really works. It is really cold upside so it is better to carry or wear heavy woolens or jackets with you. Chandanwari in pahalgham is also one of the starting points for Amaranth yatra.
This is an amazing place with picture perfect view. Sonmarg also known as “meadows of gold”. There are many snow peaked mountains. In sonamarg you can visit Nilagrad River, Vishansar Lake and Thajiwas glaciers. You can hire ponies in sonamarg for the sightseeing. Sonamarg is also a starting point for the Amaranth Yartra via baltal.
It is a Hindu shrine located in the state of Jammu & Kashmir. It is considered to be one of the holiest shrines in Hinduism. This shrine is dedicated to the lord Shiva. It is believed that lord Shiva explains the secret of life and eternity to his wife goddess Parvati in this cave. Amaranath Cave was surrounded by mountains covered by snow. The cave is also caped with snow throughout the year except for a short period of time in summer. Every year a Shiva ling of ice was formed here and slowly melts away. During that time shrine was opened for pilgrims for 59 days in the month of savan (July- August). The Amaranath yatra starts from Baltal one can take helicopter or ponies from here. You can reach to Baltal from Pahalgam or Sonamarg. It is better to take helicopters rather than ponies. You can book online Helicopter tickets also.
It is the Winter Capital of Jammu & Kashmir. It is situated in bank of river Tawi. Jammu is the focal point for the pilgrims going to Mata Vaishno Devi. Other than Vaishno Devi there are some other pilgrim centers and historical places in Jammu

It is a Hindu temple located in the mountains of Trikuta in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. The temple is dedicated to goddess Adi Shakti. It is the second most visited temple in India. It is one of the oldest temples in India. Vaishno Devi is also one of the 108 Shakti peth. It is better to carry woolen clothes while travelling to Vaishno Devi because the weather in Vaishno Devi is cool during summers also. You can travel by bus or car up to Katra (a small town) from Jammu. It is 13 Kms from Katra to the Shrine and 1 Km from Bhawan to Bhairon Mandir you can hire ponies or trek up to shrine. There is a helicopter service is also from Kart to Bhawan. You can book helicopter tickets online. Services of helicopters are dependents on the weather conditions.
It is a Hill Station located in Udhampur 112 Km from Jammu. Some of the main attractions in Patnitop are Naag temple, Kud, Madhatop and Shiva Garh. There are options for trekking and Paragliding are also available in Patnitop.

To reach Jammu & Kashmir one has get down in Jammu Tawi railway station or Udhampur Railway station. Both the railway Stations are well connected with all the part of India. Udhampur railway station is 231 Km from Srinagar and 295 Km from Jammu tawi Railway station to Srinagar.
